First Time Homebuyer Down Payment Assistance Program

A client / friend of mine who is currently in escrow found out about a program available through the City of Big Bear Lake. The City's Improvement Agency has a first time homebuyer down payment assistance program available. There are certain eligibility requirements for the borrower and the home.

There are many commercials out there that look like government endorsed messages about interest rates and loan modifications. I have seen some that have a certain CNN look about them. The fact is when homeowners are feeling stressed out about their home, family and future, there are individuals out there that may take advantage of the situation.
